Sandwich wrapping refers to specialized food-grade greaseproof packaging materials exclusively designed for wrapping sandwiches, burgers, subs, paninis, wraps and deli light meals, widely used in sandwich cafes, fast food chains, delis, food trucks, bakeries and takeaway catering businesses. Our core sandwich wrapping products include pre-cut wrapping paper sheets and large continuous wrapping rolls to fit different kitchen operation scales.
Manufactured from premium base paper coated with food-safe oil-proof and waterproof barrier layer, the sandwich wrapping delivers outstanding resistance against grease, salad cream, meat sauce and moisture penetration. It avoids oil soaking through to customers’ hands or outer takeaway bags, prevents the paper from sticking to bread and fillings, and keeps layered sandwich ingredients intact during delivery. Two classic material options are available: natural unbleached kraft brown wrapping for minimalist eco brands and bright white bleached wrapping for vivid custom printing effects. Eco biodegradable coating alternatives are provided to comply with global plastic-free sustainable packaging policies.
All raw pulp and surface coating pass FDA, LFGB international food contact safety standards, free of harmful fluorescent bleaches and toxic chemical residues, safe for direct contact with hot, cold, oily and saucy food. A full range of standard sizes covers mini breakfast sandwiches to oversized foot-long subs, with fully customized cut sizes available for unique food portion requirements. The paper features good foldability and moderate toughness, not easy to tear during quick wrapping in busy peak hours.
